To kick off Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we're starting with a simple shift in how we look at our amazing students.
Imagine our school is a garden. In a garden, you don't get mad at a cactus for being prickly or a fern for needing extra shade; you just change where you plant them and how much you water them! π΅π»
Today's Neuroaffirming Nuance:
Instead of thinking, "How do I get this student to act 'normal'?", we're asking, "What kind of 'soil' does this brain need to grow today?"
